Making Healthy Snacks

In D&T this term, we have been learning all about healthy food and how to package and preserve it.
Today we enjoyed making our own snacks in class - we made three fresh snacks - rainbow fruit skewers, vegetable sticks with hummus and sweet potato crisps!
After we made them, we thought about the question - How could we package them to keep them fresh?
Our experiments this week will inspire more healthy snack creations next week. We have already brainstormed some fantastic ideas, including fruit pizzas (with a watermelon base), overnight oats, veggie pitta pizzas and dried vegetable stars!
