Invasions Outcome Morning

This morning (Friday 6th of December) we celebrated our Invasions topic with our Outcome Morning.

Children had the opportunity to show their magnificent home learning and their books with parents and children from other classes. It was fantastic to share and see what had been created by all of the children in the school!

We saw a huge range of home learning - from Viking shields to Anglo-Saxon shortbread, to magnificent long-house models and to fantastic pieces of researched writing.

We also looked through topic books together, journeying back in time from the Romans, to the Picts and Scots, to the Anglo-Saxons and to the Vikings. Before Christmas we will also briefly cover the Norman invasion of 1066.
